I could survive on hummus! Maybe I got a little carried away there, I still crave cupcakes and cookies and pastries and…well you get the drift :P . But hummus has always been one of my favourite snacks and has served as a delicious side to my lunch.
There was a time I’d regularly pick up store bought hummus till one day I finally decided to try making it at home instead. I staunchly believe that homemade anything is always SO much better, and I proved myself right yet again with my homemade ‘Roasted Red Pepper Hummus’. Hummus is easy to make at home, so skip the store bought stuff and taste the difference.

This red pepper hummus is over the top delicious! It is full of that irresistible freshly roasted red bell pepper flavour and you’re going to have a hard time putting it away. With this recipe, I chose to not use any kind of olive oil or tahini paste. So it’s even healthier and tastes better too.
It’s a great guilt-free snack to have with fresh carrot and cucumber sticks or great to serve as a snack at a dinner party with some lavaash or crispy nachos.
Now I need to go make another batch because mine disappeared in no time! Try this and you’ll see why!

It’s as simple as this! You could serve this room temperature or cold.
