It's a mixed weekend for Bombay, with waking up this morning to the pouring rain, then to a warm and humid afternoon but subject to heavy thundery downpours. Saturday again will be humid but mainly dry, while Sunday is expected to be cloudy, cooler and wet on occasion.
Here are a bunch of things you could do this weekend along with the team from "Bluebulb".
"Bluebulb" offers a range of activities from Arts, Adventure, Lifestyle and Sports depending on what you want your weekend to look like. They usually are beginner level activities and pretty easy if you want to try something different. All of they're experiences are in the city or just around the corner, so you can do them in a day if you need to. You can just browse through they're website and book something you like online. So many options to choose from...

Since the forecast is a bit complicated, we went through they're adventure list and found a couple of activities other than the Sailing, River Rafting , Fishing, Paragliding or Hot Air Balloon Safari which sound amazing but we thought of trying them out when the rains are nowhere in sight.
So, there's the Crime Scene Investigation, which is for minimum 4 people and cost Rs.1,199 per person for 2 hours at your own home. You basically learn the basics of Forensic Science, and how to prevent contamination of the evidence or the crime scene. Sounds like fun, doesn't it!
Or if you're having a party at home and want a whole lot of excitement-Laser Tag is an option. It costs Rs.13,500/- for upto 30 people. They come over with laser tag guns, sensor vests and a central scoring computer, help you form Teams and organize a fun 3-hour event, with loads of different game scenarios. 8 people can play at one time. You could probably have a themed party also, I hear they work that out for you as well.
If you don't want to do a house bound activity, then there's the Mystery Game Adventure which is held at Bandra and Lower Parel. Its a theme based detective game where you have 60 minutes to find the hidden clues and figure a way out from the room. The game play helps you hone your detective skills and experience the thrill of live-mystery like no other and nobody can hear you scream. Cost is 500-1000 per person for an hour and varies as per the group size.
The Lifestyle section has activities that you can do by yourself or with girlfriends such as a Makeup Workshop, Food and Wine Tour in Nashik, Belly Dancing , Cupcake Workshop, Magic learning Workshop, A couple of Food Walks ,Organic Kitchen Garden farming at home and Zumba as well..That is a lot of fun options for really anybody. Price ranges are from 299 onward depending on the activity and go up-to 3000 except for the Food & Wine Walk which is a bit on the higher side. All these activities have most of the requirements included in the rate so you don't have to go an extra mile for it.
For those who want some Sports on the weekend, other than your Cricket matches and Football, they have a variety of options such as Learning how to play Golf, Archery , Kickboxing, Mix Martial Arts, Wing Chun and Kalaripayattu. They also have Street Fighting which is a course of 6 sessions over the period of 3 weeks for Rs.649/- in Bandra. The rest of the activities are beginner level and budget friendly. The Golf lessons start on the higher side though.
The Arts section on they're page has a Couple's Pottery Class[Date idea anyone :)], Paper Quilling , Spray painting and a one day Pottery class. They're all in the price range of 500-1200 and are around 2-3 hours.

Well, we are extremely excited at these amazing things to do in Mumbai and Pune other than the regular Weekend Binge drinking or Brunching.
Head over to Bluebulb and book your ideal weekend. You can also check out they're Facebook page here.
